Iris |
Iris is a wild-acting girl who likes to climb trees and chew berries. For some reason, she's traveling with her friend, the dragon type Pokémon Kibago.
With an abundance of knowledge and experience, Dento is a "Pokémon Sommelier", who diagnoses the compatibility between a trainer and their Pokémon, and gives them advice on how to become better friends. Is the actual condition what is expected?

None of the pics showed up. :( Man, that is a long link list! Iris sounds okay. Little crazy, but okay.
ReplyDeleteAnd now the pics show up after I post my comment. Curse you computer!
ReplyDeletehaha, that used to happen to me ALL the time :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if she'll be like Sapphire from Pokemon adventures.
ReplyDeleteThat is so rascist. The very first time there is a black person in pokemon and she's basically a monkey. WTF is that about?
ReplyDeleteIt's not racist. She's actually a great character. From the description, she sounds like a female tarzan, but she really isn't. She's a lot like Misty from the original series, stubborn and awesome, and this is probably the first girl after Misty that I liked instantly.
ReplyDeleteYou have to remember that Japan is inherently a racist country when it comes to black people. Most Japanese people have never seen a black person in their life, and some of those that do assume they're savages, much like the Europeans did during the Age of Explorations/Colonization. The description is racist and stubbornness is a stereotypical trait in portrayal of black people in the media as a whole.
ReplyDelete*Claps for Carol*
ReplyDeleteI don't mind her, compared to Dawn. But I do hate the hair. A lot.
@GCG I agree, but they didn't really make her a bad character. She's actually a pretty nice character, despite her unnatural and occasionally wild personality. (She doesn't swing from trees or anything often)
ReplyDelete@Phoebe I love her all around, maybe because she has my mother's name.
